Get Together festival

The Get together festival was organised by the NGO Sharq on 24th, 25th, 26th of November in Larnaca, exploring Identity and Belonging through painting, sculpture, performance, clowning, music and movement.

During October and November, free workshops were organised for all the different communities in Larnaca in all these disciplines. I was in charge of the painting workshops and worked with up to twelve participants from all over the world, some had never touched a brush, other were familiar with painting as a hobby. A group of 5 participants, got together and created a collective artwork full of symbols of their different cultures.
